  It is actually quite simple. A general disclaimer like the one below can disclaim anything but personal injury or death. They are simply disclaiming the maximum allowed by law.

They could attempt to tailor it to the needs of the specific company...but then you leave room for human error. This way is most likely supported by case law and thus fool proof.
