Our deck is finally finished!!!! We would like to invite everyone to our house for a bbq/house warming Monday. If interested, contact one of us.
Millionaire came, and went. Charles and Cory went down to stand in line and test with me. We got there about 7:15, and were numbers 221, 223, and 224 (Cory cheated) in line. As they only took 250 people for each testing, people who got there 15 minutes after us didn't make the 9am testing. The test was 30 questions, 12 minutes, and tough. None of us passed, though don't ask me what passing was, what our scores were, or even, exactly, how they score the tests, as it is very much their policy not to reveal any of that information. (Making it seem a little shifty to me.) So that's it. No millions for us, at least for now.

Anyone care to beta test EverQuest Online Adventures?
This weekend is of the 3-day variety. Anything of interest planned?

Oh, and Inquiring minds want to know how the millionare thing went.
Perhaps we should market ourselves as a lobbying firm

Lobbying is standard practice for many countries, though until last year, the Saudis had largely shunned the task, preferring to influence American policies through personal ties. In the first half of 2001, the kingdom spent only $256,770 on two lobbying firms. By contrast, during the same period, Israel spent $5.1 million on eight firms and Japan spent $24.6 million on 58 firms.
(From a NYTimes article on how much the Saudi's are spending now. I think in the end it will fall somewhere between the Isreali and Japanese amounts)

Ahhh, but becoming a non-profit organization is free, and provides all types of nifty tax benifits =;-)
Are you offering up the $600?
Are we sure Cheddar Team doesn't want to incorporate? It will only cost $600 to form a corporation or LLC, and we can do it right over the web.

It looks like my goal of becoming a true ninja is one step closer, thanks to this.

"I just saw the movie 'Spiderman' and I realized that some day we'll be able to do even better than he does sticking to things," said Kellar Autumn, a Lewis & Clark College biologist.

And how cool is it that our researchers are at least keeping superheroes in mind when working on thier stuff?

I feel it would be a grave injustice to gamers everywhere if Scorpion were to be allowed to defeat great icons such as Link and Sephiroth
So, Go Vote!(right side of page)
I don't know if anyone on this list has the skills, but if you think you might, who wouldn't want to be a Console Game Programmer?
  Geoff,
You aren't the first to do that, I am certain you won't be the last.

Straight from the Madden soundtrack, OK GO with "Get Over It". Very cool song.
It's apparently on sale now.. don't miss out on the Everquest Role Playing Game from our friends at White Wolf Publishing.

Maybe we can get Prestige for EQ now.
Unfortunately, Doug, as an employee of AT&T, will not be able to play Millionaire

Occasionally I see something interesting that I think "Hmmm, I could make/do that". And here is this week's addition to that list. The perfect game table!

Perhaps Angela, M'Cori, Tristan and Jenn should sign up to be play testers for MicroSoft. They called me today for the fourth or fifth time. Thanks to playing the Sims a few times, I qualify. However, the questions about Simulation games came after a list of games like WarHammer III and other turn based strategy games and asking if I'd played rpgs. So, whatever it is I'm testing, it should be something you all will like. I just hope this time it's an actual new product instead of something that's already been released by another company.

I love being a girl.

Hi All. I have a plan for a ShadowRun game and I would like to invite all of you to play what I have in mind is a large game environment where everyone has a character. And I will post "Runs" from time to time at least once a month and involvement in one of these "Runs" will be first come first serve. I would encourage input from all of you as to what you would like in a game. And once we get started if you wanted to organize a run IC you could either GM it your self or tell me what you where trying to do and I could work with that to set up a game. And if I could get Doug to help me set up a Blog for the game that would be cool

BTW Trolls by special approval only
