  So, in the Warhammer 40k rules it actually says that the player to go first is the one with the higher ranking on thier web site tracking system. So, here's where you'd sign up. Another interesting thing is that they don't list a redemption thing (koku) on the bosters or starters, only in the section you get to after you sign up. I'd, of course, already thrown my boxes and bosters away, so if you buy some cards, hang on to them. The top flap from each of the starter boxes get's your foil faction cards (strongholds).
Oh, and you can make your own card once you sign up, has your little rank on it and your race, and you print it out.. kinda cool.. a little.

  I noticed that the Warhammer 40,000 CCG is in stores now. I picked up a Space Marine starter, an Eldar starter, and a couple of booster packs. The cards look really nice. I haven't looked over the rulebook yet, but I will soon. Check it out for yourself and let me know what you think.

  Hmmm, Slytherin for me. Kinda suprising.

Anyway, Hufflepuff are the bumblers. They tend to be the bookish librarian types, potionmakers, herboligists, etc. Thick glasses, always bumping into things, but really nice and well meaning all the time. At least, that's the impression I got from the books. THe name seems fitting to the house, overall.

  So, being bored and mildly curious, I stuck my head under the Harry Potter Sorting Hat. Other than the fact that it's not one of the main two houses in the movie and that it's got a really lame name, I have no idea what house Hufflepuff does.
I tried the sorting hat on the official HP site, but not only does it make it's determination on only four questions, but currently it doesn't even work.

  Just so you know.. comic books scan like crap.. they're printed very cheaply. I'll see if there's a cover with the Iszes on there, that'll turn out better.. but I haven't looked at my Maxx comics in forever, so I don't know if there is.

  OK this is a call out to those of you who have The Maxx Comics, i need a few pics of some ISZ, Both the Black and White Variety, if someone could these up and scan them and email em to i would highly appreciate it

  Not having the cards or a place to host it perhaps I am not the one to suggest it but anyone up for Vampy good card games tonight?
